Selection and Interview Process
The screening process begins with the review of applications by the building principals or supervisors. Submitting an application does not assure the candidate of an interview. The building principal or supervisor will contact the selected applicants for an interview. We work in committee to interview and recommend for hire, all candidates in the district. Upon completion of the interviewing process, which includes reference and criminal background checks, the building principal or supervisor will recommend a candidate for hire. For teachers, employment is official after the School Board acts upon the individual contract. Only those candidates interviewed will be notified that the position has been filled.
